Mixed Choir M.C.L. «Solarte»

The Mixed Choir of the Contemporary Conservatory of Larissa is a flexible choir group created in March 2004 by Mr. G. Grampsas in the framework of activities of the Contemporary Conservatory of Larissa.

The choir’s repertoire is wide and covers works from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance to the present day.

Appeared in concerts organized among other Ministries, Universities, Municipalities, Public and Private bodies. The choir has taken part in festivals and choir meetings throughout Greece. He also performed numerous concerts in various cities of Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki, Volos, Nafpaktos, Karditsa, Lamia, Delphi, Piraeus, Argos Orestiko etc.) and in places such as the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the Ancient Theater of Delphi etc. The activity of the choir is not limited only inside, as it shows great concert activity outside Greece. Indicatively, we mention the participation of the choir in a choir workshop and its collaboration with the string orchestra of the Holy Temple of Ag. Stefanou in Vienna at a concert held at the church under the direction of Gerald Wyrth. He has also performed in other European countries (Italy, Hungary, Serbia, etc.). He appeared on Greek, Italian and Bulgarian television and radio, as he participated in the recording of records (CDs).

He has collaborated with orchestras (String Orchestra of St. Stephen of Vienna, Symphony Orchestra of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Orchestra of ERT3, Orchestra of the Municipality of Larissa, etc.), with important conductors (G. Wyrth, G. Konsta. Dimopoulos et al.), Collaborated with artists (G. Dalaras, K. Hatzis et al.).
