Kalampoukas Xrhstos
He was born in Larissa in 1978. He has a degree in classical guitar, a degree in Fugitive and Byzantine music. In 1993 he became involved in traditional music while learning the lute. Since 1996 he is a member of the traditional music orchestra “Sound Indigenous”. He was a member of the orchestra of the Association of Friends of Byzantine and Folk Music of Larissa (1996-2005). He has taken part in recordings playing lute and guitar.
He has performed classical guitar recitals (Larissa, Veria, Serres). He taught lute and traditional music ensembles at the Music School of Larissa (2000-2013) and at the music camp of D. Tempon in Ambelakia. Today he teaches guitar and lute at the Contemporary Conservatory of Larissa, in the music workshops of the association of philharmonic performers of D. Tyrnavos and in the music association of Elassona “musicArte”.
He is in charge of the school of traditional music and the orchestra of young guitarists of the Modern Conservatory of Larissa.
